Boyertown's Alumni Marching Unit will be supporting Wreaths Across America at Fairview Cemetery on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Located in Boyertown, the event is scheduled for 12:00 noon.
Each year, the Ceremonial Band volunteers to provide both patriotic and holiday music selections for the ceremony. This event remembers the FALLEN, honors those who SERVE, and TEACHES our children the values of Freedom! The trumpet section also provides military “taps” at this program, which signals the end of the day, honors those who died while serving, and is often part of military funerals. Eight-hundred and ninety veterans' graves are being served at both Fairview and Union Cemeteries.
The event is family-friendly, and everyone is welcome to attend. Alumni Band trumpeter Dave Ermold says, “It is an honor to perform taps at Fairview each year in memory of the brave men and women who served our great country."
The event is held outdoors, so dress accordingly. Street parking is available. If you are interested in volunteering or sponsoring a wreath, more information is available by contacting “Friends of Boyertown WAA”. https://wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/159126/Overview
We hope you will join the Alumni Marching Unit on Wreaths Across America day, for our ceremony and wreath laying to honor all our Veteran heroes in Fairview.
