FIDDLER RETURNS

The often difficult three years since the Talisman Players’ last musical production have left many of us saddened and confused and, at times, wondering when we might feel "normal again." Well, what can alleviate these feelings more than a dose of laughter or a good cry of joy, each of which has no better source than GOOD THEATRE? The Talisman Players will return by re-inventing their "classic" very first musical at the Kutztown Community Theatre, "FIDDLER ON THE ROOF," on January 20-22 in the Georgian Room of Old Main, at Kutztown University. To add to the “GOOD NEWS,” they are continuing their joyful collaboration with BOYERTOWN through a very special PREVIEW performance at St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (45 N. Reading Avenue) on Wednesday, January 18th at 7pm. The cast is full of wonderful actors, including both veteran Talisman Players as well as those making their theatrical debut with this Community Theatre. Rob Weidman, reprising his role as the constable, is eager to work with both groups, stating, “it is truly a delight to be reunited with actors I shared the stage with more than six years ago in our last production of ‘Fiddler’ and equally exciting to have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with so many talented new actors.” For more information on the performances at both venues, please visit the talismanplayers.com and stjohnsboyertown.org websites.
