Colebrookdale Railroad - The Secret Valley Line hosted a Duchess of High Tea Train on Sunday, Feb. 12. The train cars were transformed into a setting that took you back in time to the Gilded Age. Guests were treated to a scenic three hour round trip to the Pottstown station and back with beautiful music from a live harpist. Biscuits, scones, tea sandwiches, and fine teas were served. The ride was finished with a cheesecake dessert and a champagne toast. This Edwardian passenger train experience was the perfect way to celebrate with the ones you love. You can view a video experience of their rides here.

Colebrookdale Railroad anticipates offering similar rides around Mother's Day.

The Peppermint Stick Candy Store Shares:

Irish potato candy is a traditional Philadelphian candy. Despite its name, it is not from Ireland, it is not from Ireland, and does not usually contain any potato. The candies have a coconut cream inside generally made from some blend of coconut, confectioner's sugar, vanilla, and cream or cream cheese and are rolled in cinnamon on the outside, resulting in an appearance reminiscent of small potatoes. The treats are about the size of a large marble and are especially popular around St. Patrick's Day.

Visited some friends in the shop at BASH this morning...checking out the cool 'stuff' that was foundation-funded, like: the rotational molding oven, the Shelix cutter and a foundry sand muller. These kids are doing amazing things here!
