71st Boyertown Citizen of the Year Honorees Announced

The Boyertown Citizen of the Year Committee, having reviewed nominations for outstanding area residents in several categories, announced the following honorees:

Citizen of the Year:    Rick Drumheller

First Responder of the Year:    Gary Conrad

Mentor of the Year:    Tim Bauman

High School Senior of the Year:    Abi Dawson

Special Recognition:    Bear Fever

According to the selection committee, this year's honorees "best exemplify the support and volunteerism that is imperative to our community's daily operation" and are individuals who have "gone above and beyond" in contributing to the Boyertown area community.

Community members were encouraged to submit nominations beginning late last year.   The selection committee, which consists of past honorees, subsequently evaluated each nomination and made its final decision. 

Honorees will be formally recognized at the 71st Annual Citizen of the Year Gala on April 12, 2025.  Tickets can be purchased online.
