Local resident Martha Bentley was asked by her in-laws, Doug and Janie Anderson of Whitewater, Wisconsin, to share these thanks:

"Janie and I want you to pass on to the volunteers at the USAAF Museum on Thursday, 11/12/25 that they did a great job. Their presentation far exceeded what we expected from a small town museum! The professionalism of Jerry and Chris greatly added to our experience!
Not only did the museum have a surplus of period artifacts to admire and read about, but the knowledge of the local background behind the exhibits was impressive. The preflight briefing and clothing issue was very interesting.
We were impressed with the interactive details and personal attention given to us. Our experience in the escape room pulled us into a prisoner of war camp helped us to appreciate just how secretive the POWs had to be to escape discovery by the guards.
We feel like we could fly a B-17, shoot up the ME 109s, and survive the POW camp after being shot down and captured.
