Inviting YOU to Help Spread Dems Blue Views!

Berks Stands Up (BSU)—a political group working together to recruit, support, and elect local leaders whose values align with the Democratic party—invites like-minded friends to the home of Gretchen and Jake Lea, 138 South Grims Mill Road, Boyertown, PA 19512, on October 20, 2023, beginning at 6 p.m. to share issues they believe our local representatives should be working on or to indicate their willingness to help candidates.

The Oley Valley and Boyertown areas are on the tip of Berks County and may have unique needs and views that should be heard. The goal of the evening is to organize people who share the same values for their community and families.

“We plan to hold a short, one-hour, in-person event to identify shared values, top issues, and recruit more shifts for the Listen Up! Campaign and GOTV,” Gretchen explains. “People recognize shared values within their communities and agree to build towards local power together,” she continues. 
“Please come and share. And bring like-minded friends.”

"We're here to win elections, win issue campaigns, and will political power for everyday people.  From raising our voices in our public square to going door-to-door to meet our neighbors, we are taking back our democracy," the site adds.
