We will be hosting an extra special poetry workshop with professional poet, Laura Shovan! She is a longtime poet-in-the-schools for the Maryland State Arts Council and teaches for Vermont College of Fine Arts’ MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults. This program is in collaboration with our ongoing Rain Poetry project. Students will learn about haikus, create their own, and have the opportunity to submit them to be a part of this amazing project!

Geared towards 6-12, but all welcome. No registration required.
