A few months ago, Boyertown's Mayor Lori Carnes took a deep breath before presenting her idea to those in charge of operations at the Colebrookdale Railroad. Knowing that the non-profit had acquired the church on South Washington Street recently, she also knew there were no firm plans in place to utilize the space during the 2024 holiday season. And she knew of over a dozen local crafters who would be delighted to have a place to showcase and sell their creations.

And so, the Colebrookdale Craft Depot opened, bringing 13 local artisans and collectors together to offer a variety of crafts, art, and collectibles: Lori Carnes, Chris Diettrick, Linda Gamler, Margie Harner, Bernice Hunt, Becki Kehler. Also Janet Kopinstansky, Kim Vroman, Debbie Spleen, Vicki Kriczky, Susan Lopez, and Beth Norton.
The Depot is open during the railroad's busiest times: Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. ; and Sunday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Featured are artists and former teachers Julie Longacre and Debbie Spleen.
The room is filled with a variety of crafts.

The church itself offers its own art along with nature's fresh greens and floral displays.
The organizers hope you'll take a train ride and then visit the Depot to find just the perfect something to add to your own holiday decor or to gift a friend or loved one!
