More than 100 members of the Boyertown Area Senior High (BASH) class of 1975 will come together again for their 50th reunion on April 26, 2025. In celebration of this milestone, which will be marked by some of our favorite readers, staff of The Boyertown Expression scoured the class archives. We are pleased to publish some material that we hope will bring back many fond memories!
“Yesterday’s Dreams, Tomorrow’s Visions” was the theme of the class of ‘75’s Junior Diner Dance, held on May 24, 1974 at the Gilbertsville Fire Hall.
Several members of the class of ’75 were part of the cast of BASH’s production of The Sound of Music in spring 1974.
Members of the class marked Homecoming in October 1974 with the traditional football game and announcement of the Homecoming Court. It featured Homecoming Queen Beverly G. Geyer and Senior Princess Karen L Bieler.
The soon-to-be graduates traveled to the Mount Airy Lodge in Mt. Pocono for the annual senior class trip on February 25, 1975. Members of the class enjoyed skiing, ski bobbing, ice skating, indoor tennis, swimming, basketball, and danced to the music of “Infinion.”
Beginning in 1980, and nearly every five years since, members of the class of '75 have been “back together again” to enjoy the company of old friends. Attendees of the class's first reunion were encouraged to “remember our class motto: Yesterday is already a dream and tomorrow is only a vision. But today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.”
