Congratulations to Mark Malizzi for being recognized for his work and dedication to honoring soldiers who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Recently, Mark was recognized by The Soldiers of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Platoon, HHC, 4/3 IN BN, 3D Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) for his outstanding support to our mission in honoring our Nation's fallen warriors.

The effort that motivated the award was the "Honor [Bear Fever] Bear" posted at American Legion Post 0471. Mark spent spending countless hours of his own time designing and modifying the fiberglass sculpture to create a symbol honoring America's fallen.

On December 10, 2025, The Unknown Soldiers and their Guards offered their thanks for his selfless service.
