Life Is Just a Bowl of Cherries...
A least it can be... if you hustle off to the Shanesville Fruit Farm LLC.
They share, "It's CHERRY season! Pick your own Sweet Cherries is now open. Sour cherries will start at the beginning of next week. Picking hours are Monday - Saturday from 8am - 5:30pm. Closed on Sundays. Price is $3.75 a pound for sweet and sours. Cherry Orchard is located at 120 School House Road, Boyertown, PA 19512. Any questions, please call the farm at 610-367-8496."
I can personally confirm that these cherries are wonderful year after year. Cherry pie, cherry jam, cherry scones -- the possibilities are endless. And what a great way to spend some time for kids who play video games for far too many hours.
